Cantina Terlano

A landscape shapes its wines

In 1893, 24 winegrowers from Terlano founded one of South Tyrol’s first cooperative wineries. Today the Cantina Produttori Terlano, which has approx. 100 members, covers an area of 150 hectares and boasts an overall annual production of 1.1 million litres or 1.2 million bottles, is among the country’s smaller concerns. However, the cooperative’s manageable size contributes in no small part to ensuring the quality of its exquisite DOC wines.

Special vintages have been stored in the Terlano Winery vinotheque for many years. This wine collection, which is unique in Italy, is an expression of the Terlano liking for mature, long-lasting wines, which increase in harmony and elegance with age.
